Objetos de Aprendizaje y herramientas web 2.0 - Learning Objects and web 2.0 tools

Web 2.0 is a fantastic Word. For the people who have interest in learning objects, web 2.0 is a very interesting thing. It has to do to with the possibilities of building educational material in collaboration and with online and real time update and adaptation, all this applying social filters.
One example is the use of wikis as a learning object format.
You can think and design a learning object as a wiki. The goal should be in that case, an object that can be co-built by people who live and work in different places. Update or adapt this kind of learning object is a quite different process. You must not download the object form a repository, so, you have to go to the wiki and make the adjustments directly on it. Challenges? Yes indeed! Management of wiki´s history is one of this…how much “open” have to be this kind of learning object? We must think about the convenience of a high speed updated learning object. May be you will lose control over updating process. How all this affect the planning process of teacher’s activities?
